Who runs JPadify?
A small in-house team based in Tokyo — Japanese copywriters, designers, and producers who have been working in performance advertising for years. No outsourcing to freelancers, no overseas pods staffed for Japan.
How big is the team?
Six full-time at launch — three creative, two strategy and media, one operations. Big enough to handle real volume, small enough that you talk to the same people each time.
Where are you based and what hours do you work?
Tokyo. JST business hours (9am–7pm) for live communication. Asynchronous work continues outside those windows — most clients are 12–16 hours offset, so we batch responses around your morning.
Are you hiring?
Sometimes. If you're a Japanese-native designer or copywriter with performance marketing experience, send a portfolio to studio@jpadify.com — we keep a private bench list.
How do briefs work?
Send anything — a paragraph, an existing creative, a Loom of you walking through the offer. We send back specific clarifying questions if anything is unclear. No 60-minute kickoff calls required.
What's the fastest you can ship?
Rush projects ship in under 48 hours (+30% fee). Standard delivery is 48–72 hours from approved brief.
Do you communicate in English?
Yes — all client communication is in English. The creative team writes in Japanese for the actual deliverables, but everything you see passes through English-fluent producers.
How are revisions handled?
Creative Production: 2 rounds included, more billed separately. Ongoing Creative and Creative + Media: unlimited copy revisions inside the monthly fee.
Can I get on a call with the people doing the work?
Yes — schedule a 30-minute call with the producer on your account at any point. For retainer and full-service clients, monthly calls are standard.
What file formats do you deliver?
PNG, JPG, GIF, MP4 — whatever the network requires. Source files (PSD / AI / Figma) included on request.
Do you handle banner specs for my network?
TrafficJunky, ExoClick, TrafficStars, and JuicyAds are routine. Other networks: send us the spec sheet and we will match it.
Who owns the creative?
You do, from delivery onwards. We retain the right to use anonymized versions in our own portfolio with your consent — you can opt out, and most clients do for the first six months.
Will my creative be reused for other clients?
No. Creative is exclusive to the brand that commissioned it. Even copy angles aren't re-sold.
Do you do landing pages?
Yes — single-page LPs in Japanese with conversion-focused layout. Pricing quoted separately, typically $600–$1,800 depending on complexity.
Can you match my brand guidelines?
Yes. Send a style guide or 3–5 examples of approved creative and we work within it. Most overseas brand guides need minor tonal adaptation for Japan — we flag what should shift and why.
Do you work with my type of offer?
We work with direct-response subscription brands, content networks, DTC consumer brands, and adjacent performance verticals. We don't take anything illegal in Japan or that we'd find personally objectionable — case-by-case judgment. If you're not sure whether your offer fits, send the brief and we'll be honest about it.
Can you handle Japan-specific compliance?
Yes — we know what triggers Japanese network and platform restrictions (visual content limits, claim language, comparative framing) and how to design around them while keeping CTR up.
Do you work with white-label or affiliate offers?
Yes — both direct advertisers and affiliate-side teams. We treat the brief the same way regardless of how the offer is sourced.
What about cultural conventions specific to Japan?
We flag anything that will not land — common patterns include certain numerical claims, color associations, and humor that translates flat. You always have final say on edits.
Will you sign an NDA?
Yes — happy to sign yours. We also offer a mutual NDA template if you'd prefer.
Do you offer net terms?
No. Direct-response advertising is too volatile for trailing payments — keeps the relationship clean. Prepaid for one-off projects, monthly invoicing for retainers (due within 7 days). See the /pricing page for the full breakdown.
What if I cancel a retainer early?
Inside the 3-month minimum: remaining months still owed. After the minimum: any month can be your last with 7 days notice. Unused banners are credited toward a final batch.
Are you GDPR or privacy compliant?
We don't store client end-user data. Only what's needed to deliver work to you — your contact info, brief documents, your account access where you grant it for full-service engagements.
